A Bright Step Forward

The neighborhood owes a big Thank You to the HOA Vice President Gary Bacon for putting the main entrance lights into working order over the weekend.

If you see him around the block, shake his hand.

Wow! What A Difference.

In case you haven't noticed you will want to take a look at the new signs at the Pleasant Pointe Drive entrance. They were installed yesterday and look fantastic! Quite a leap forward over the torn and shredded signs they replace.

Many thanks to Dave Hill, President of the HOA for driving that project forward.

Now - the next step is to repair the spotlights designed to shine upon those signs. The lights are currently inoperable due to electrical faults.

We are looking for a qualified electrician to do this work...would love to use someone in the neighborhood. So if you know anyone in Pleasant Pointe, or have a good electrician you have used that does not live here, please let us know by sending information to us at pleasantpointe29851@gmail.com.

Thanks!

One Down, Two to Go...

By now some of you have noticed that the rusty fuel tank that sat between phases I and II forever is now gone. Vanished!

So far we don't know who to thank for this. The HOA officers (and others) made a concerted effort to notify folks who might have an interest. Appears one of those calls paid off.

Anyone know someone who can use a couple of concrete culvert pieces?

Glad You Saw the Sign!

If you are on this site because you saw the sign at one of the entrances to Pleasant Pointe then the signs worked!

This site is not very old - but it does contain some things you will want to read and get caught up on.

If the format seems strange it only takes a short while to get the hang of it. When you get down to the bottom of the page there may be more to read: look for a link saying "Older posts" and click it.

And please note we are interested in your telling us about the business you own or where you work so that your neighbors might be interested in doing business with you.

A Near Catastrophe

Last week we had a near miss in the neighborhood. A homeowner reports some young people were playing with fireworks and the unintended result was a home actually caught fire from the fireworks!!

Fortunately the fire was extinguished in a hurry - do you know how something like that could spread?

Just a word of caution: fireworks require care and supervision.

Thanks.
